Rainbow Sky Above the Moon
The rainbow was 180 degrees; and the moon was directly under the rainbow arc. Pausing...beautiful...blessing.
I saw this at Heritage High. I rushed home for the camera. The prism colors had lessened, but still awesome.

Kitty Karen and caring neighbors
Kitty Karen and Callie BooBoo are close buddies. Karen is like a mom, and a friend, to Callie. Recently Kitty Karen wandered away after getting out of the house in some mysterious way. We searched the neighborhood multiple times in multiple days. Andy and Barbie ended the search when their cat spotted Kitty Karen in their backyard. Andy and Barbie, food in hand, attempted to get Karen. Skipper and I came along and spotted all the action, jumped in to help, and soon I had Kitty Karen tucked within my arms and Andy was walking Skipper to our home. Despite kidney disease and glaucoma and melanoma of her right eye, Karen was in great shape. Thanks so much, Andy and Barbie, and your precious kitty.

Florida White Birds Love Mowed Grass
Recently, the lawn service people mowed the fields in our neighborhood. And a white flock quickly flew in for the bug hunt of the day! These white birds dug deeply when rooting around for bugs and such...and they aerate the land at the same time. Multi-tasking Birds! Yippee!

Snapdragons, Teaberries, and Neveah!
Three streets in Parkside West are named Snapdragon, Teaberry and Neveah.
Playful Snapdragons... Pop one of the many flowers open like a puppet. You are a puppeteer! Fun.
Fragrant Teaberries...Tiny white bell-shaped flowers followed by red berries along branches that smell of wintergreen. The bubble-gum plant! For Clark's Teaberry Flavored Gum. The Teaberry name stems from colonists during the Revolution using these fragrant wintergreen leaves to make tea, while boycotting English Tea!

Neveah ... Neveah is a variation
of Heaven
spelled backward.
Amen.

Tree Frog
Patrick and this little critter have seen each other often in the last few weeks. Tonight I captured him on film. Can't tell if it is a native tree frog or a cuban tree frog, both being in Florida, but I think it is a native tree frog...or maybe it is just a "wall" frog. Cute....
